Random Number Generator 1-100

Get a random number between 1 and 100 in one click. All hundred values share the same 1% chance, so the draw is fair whether you need a single pick or a list of fifty.

This is the most-used span for a reason: it maps onto percentages, percentile scores, exam questions, and hundred-square grids, so the answer does not need to be rescaled before you use it.

How to use it

  1. Click generate for a number from 1 to 100.
  2. Click again for a new draw — each click is independent of the last.
  3. Use batch mode to pull a list of numbers, or no-repeat mode to draw a set without duplicates.

A hundred options, drawn evenly

Every number from 1 to 100 has a 1% chance on each draw. That makes the tool a fair stand-in for a hundred-sided die, a raffle with a hundred tickets, or a percentile. It also means a duplicate across two draws is normal, not a defect — with only a hundred values, the same result will reappear roughly once every hundred draws, on average.

No-repeat mode and the pool limit

Turn on no-repeat and each drawn number is struck off until the pool is empty, which is what you want for seat numbers, bingo-style draws, or assigning a hundred students to a hundred tasks. The tool tracks the pool and tells you when you have drawn all hundred.

Batch mode

Need forty numbers rather than one? Batch mode returns the whole set at once, one per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet. Combine it with no-repeat mode to get a unique set in a single click.

Changing the range

One to a hundred is the default. If your task needs a different span, the same generator covers 1 to 10 and custom bounds — the range controls sit next to the draw button.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Let us know.

How many numbers are there between 1 and 100?

One hundred, inclusive. Each has a 1% chance on any single draw.

Can the same number come up twice in a row?

Yes, unless no-repeat mode is on. With a hundred values, that is expected occasionally.

Can I draw 100 unique numbers at once?

Yes. Batch mode plus no-repeat gives you a full unique set of 1 through 100.

Can I get 1 to 1000 instead?

Yes — set the upper bound to 1000 in the range settings and the same generator covers it.

Does it include 1 and 100?

Yes, both ends are included.

Is it free?

Yes, no account and no limit.
