By accessing and using Kuakua - Psychology & AI Tools for Well-Being (the “Service”), located at https://kuakua.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

Kuakua is a free, open-access psychology and well-being platform. It turns published psychology research into interactive self-assessment tests, cognitive experiments, games, and practical tools, alongside educational articles — available in 30 languages, with no signup required to use the content. Our official browser extensions are part of the Service and are governed by these Terms.

The Service offers self-assessment tools, exercises, and educational content for informational and self-reflection purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor–patient relationship is created by your use of the Service. The tools are not a substitute for professional evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

Parts of the Service include AI-driven characters and AI-generated content, such as selectable game opponents and in-game dialogue. These characters are fictional and clearly non-human; they exist for entertainment and education. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and never constitutes professional advice.

An account is optional and is used only for identity and convenience (for example, pre-filling the feedback form). If you create one, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You keep ownership of anything you submit — feedback, suggestions, votes, or site submissions. By submitting, you grant Kuakua a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, and use that content to operate and improve the Service. Do not submit content you do not have the rights to, or content that is unlawful or infringing.

Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, and do not interfere with or impair it. Automated access is welcome where it complies with our robots.txt and llms.txt files (for example, search engines and AI indexers). Any other scraping, bulk collection, or redistribution of content or data from the Service is prohibited and may result in loss of access and legal action.

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains our deliberately minimal data practices, including what stays on your device and which third-party processors we use.

All intellectual property rights in the Service and its content, excluding user contributions, are owned by Kuakua or its licensors. Unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Service is prohibited.

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuakua and its authors are not liable for any damages, issues, or consequences arising from use of the Service; all risks associated with its use rest with you.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Service — temporarily or permanently — for violations of these Terms or abuse of the Service, at our reasonable discretion.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under any higher minimum age required by your country), and we do not knowingly allow children below that age to submit personal information. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when the updated Terms are posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
