About Link Game

A classic connect‑pairs puzzle redesigned with a modern interface and silky animations. Your goal is to clear the board by linking two identical emojis through a valid path.

How it Works

Select two identical emojis. A valid path can have straight lines, one corner, or two corners, and cannot pass through other tiles. Use shuffle to reshuffle remaining tiles and hint to highlight a solvable pair (costs points).

Why It’s Meaningful

This game gently trains attention, pattern recognition, and planning under time pressure. The light visuals and responsive feedback help you unwind while keeping your mind engaged.

Link Game Themes

Classic — the full emoji set: faces, animals, food and objects mixed together for maximum variety. Animals — pandas, foxes, whales and dozens more creatures. Pure animal faces make visual matching faster and the board friendlier for kids. Food — fruit, snacks and drinks. A tasty palette that turns the board into a picture menu. Flowers — blossoms, trees and leaves in a calm, natural palette. The most relaxing skin, and a good pick for a quiet break.

Link Game vs Mahjong Connect

Same rules, different artwork. Both games ask you to pair identical tiles and connect them with a path that bends at most twice. Link Game plays with emoji; Mahjong Connect plays with a full set of mahjong tiles across shaped boards. If you want the mahjong-tile version with shaped levels, play Mahjong Connect.

Strategy Guide

Work the edges first — border tiles have the most connection options. Clear long straight runs early to open the most paths. Scan row by row instead of jumping around the board. Take a half-second before each click to confirm the path; a failed pair resets your combo and the time bonus is where real points come from.

Link Game for Kids & Parents

Link Game is an easy first puzzle for children: pick the Animals or Food theme, start on the small board, and the rules teach themselves after one or two rounds. For a co-op round, take turns finding pairs and let the other player confirm the path before clicking. The combo system rewards calling out matches quickly — and losing one just means the next pair is worth more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Let us know.

Is Link Game free?

Yes. Link Game runs in your browser and is completely free — no download, no account, no payment.

Can I play Link Game online without downloading?

Yes. The game loads directly in the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, and a round takes just a few minutes.

What happens when no moves are left?

The board reshuffles automatically so you can keep going, and the Hint button highlights one valid pair (for a small score cost).

Is there an animal link game?

Yes — switch to the Animals theme on the start screen and the board fills with animal emoji. Food and Flowers themes are there too.

What are the exact rules of Link Game?

Pick two identical emoji. They disappear if a line connects them that bends at most twice and does not cross any other tile. Paths may travel around the outside of the board. Clear every pair before the timer runs out.

How many tiles are on a board?

It grows with the level: the first level is a 6×6 board of 36 tiles, and later levels reach 12×14. Bigger boards have more emoji types and tighter timers.
