Arrow Escape Puzzle
A logic puzzle of arrows and paths. Clear every arrow from the grid by firing them in the right order — each arrow can only fly off when its path to the edge is unobstructed.

What is Arrow Escape Puzzle?
Arrow Escape is a logic puzzle game where a grid is filled with arrows pointing in four directions. Your goal is to remove all arrows by tapping them in the right order. Each arrow can only fire off the board when its straight path to the edge is clear of other arrows.
How do I play Arrow Escape?
Tap an arrow to fire it. If the path in the arrow's direction (up, down, left, or right) is clear of other arrows, it flies off the board. If any other arrow blocks its path, the arrow shakes and stays. Find the correct order to clear all arrows.
Are all levels solvable?
Yes. Every level is procedurally generated using a reverse-construction algorithm that guarantees at least one valid solution. You may need to think several moves ahead to find it.
What does the hint button do?
When hints are enabled, arrows that can currently be fired (their path to the edge is clear) are highlighted with a pulsing glow. This helps you see which moves are available without revealing the full solution.
How does the difficulty progress?
Levels start at a 3×3 grid with a few arrows and gradually increase to 7×7 grids with up to 30+ arrows. Larger grids require more forward planning and spatial reasoning.
Is Arrow Escape good for your brain?
Yes. Arrow Escape exercises spatial reasoning, working memory, and forward planning — the same cognitive skills used in chess, sliding-block puzzles, and other logic games. It's a relaxing way to train strategic thinking.
How are stars awarded?
Stars are based on how close your move count is to the optimal solution. 3 stars mean you solved the level in the minimum possible moves, 2 stars mean a few extra moves, and 1 star means you cleared it but took more moves than necessary. Try to beat your best record to upgrade your star rating.
Can I replay a level I've already solved?
Yes. Use the Previous Level button to revisit earlier levels, or press Reset to restart the current level with the same arrow layout. Each replay lets you try to improve your move count and star rating.
What should I do if I get stuck?
First, turn on hints — the glowing arrows show every move that's currently available. If you're still stuck, press Reset to restart the level. Remember: every level is guaranteed solvable from its starting position, so if you reach a deadlock it means an earlier move closed off a needed path.

How to Play
Arrow Escape is a logic puzzle where every arrow must be fired off the board in the correct order. Tap an arrow — if its straight-line path to the board edge is clear, it flies off; otherwise it stays. Clear all arrows to win the level.
Controls
Tap or click any arrow to attempt firing it. Use the Hint toggle to highlight arrows whose paths are currently clear. Use Reset to restart a level, and the Previous / Next Level buttons to navigate between solved levels.
Rules
1. Each level contains a grid (3×3 up to 7×7) populated with arrows pointing in four directions. 2. Tap an arrow to fire it. The arrow flies off the board only if every cell along its pointing direction (up to the edge) is empty. 3. If any other arrow blocks the path, the tapped arrow shakes and stays in place. 4. The level is complete when every arrow has been fired off. 5. Every level is procedurally generated and guaranteed to have at least one valid solution.
Tips & Strategy
- Start from the edges. Arrows on the border can often fire immediately — clear them first to open up paths for inner arrows.
- Read the direction. An arrow pointing up only cares about cells above it; ignore the columns to its left and right when planning.
- Work backwards. Before tapping, ask: “Which arrows are blocking this one?” Clear the blockers first whenever possible.
- Use hints on larger grids. A 7×7 board can hold 30+ arrows; the hint glow helps you spot immediately available moves without scanning every cell.
About Arrow Escape Puzzle
Arrow Escape is a logic puzzle inspired by the classic Arrows game. The board is filled with arrows pointing in four directions. Your goal is to remove every arrow by tapping it — but an arrow can only fire when its straight-line path to the board edge is completely clear of other arrows. Each level is procedurally generated and guaranteed to be solvable. As the grid grows from 3×3 up to 7×7, you'll need to plan several moves ahead, visualise paths, and find the one sequence that empties the board.
Playing Arrow Escape draws on spatial reasoning, working memory, and forward planning: you must hold a mental model of the board and reason about consequences several steps deep. The hint system helps beginners learn the pattern, while higher levels challenge even experienced puzzlers.
Scoring & Stars
Your move count determines your star rating: • 3 stars (Perfect!) — solved in the minimum number of moves • 2 stars (Great!) — solved with a few extra moves • 1 star (Cleared!) — solved, but with more moves than optimal Track your best move count per level — beat your personal record to upgrade your stars.
Strategy Guide
On larger grids, the puzzle becomes a constraint-satisfaction problem. Identify “bottleneck” arrows — ones blocking many others — and prioritise clearing the arrows that block them. The hint glow reveals available moves, but choosing which available move to make is where the strategy lives. Avoid firing arrows that would leave another arrow permanently blocked; if you ever reach a state where no arrow can fire, you've made a mistake (though every generated level is guaranteed solvable from the start).
