About this self-assessment

What is this self-assessment?

This self-assessment combines the World Health Organization's Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS v1.1) with a set of exploratory items on female ADHD presentations such as masking, internalized difficulties, and life management.

It is designed for women who suspect their experiences with attention, organization, or executive function may be related to ADHD but who have not been diagnosed. Results are presented as a profile rather than a single score, because ADHD-related experiences vary widely between people.

The female presentation and impact items are exploratory and educational. They are not a validated diagnostic scale.

How are results scored?

Core items are the 18 ASRS v1.1 questions. Part A (the first six items) uses the standard ASRS screening scoring, where endorsing four or more items at threshold suggests symptoms consistent with adult ADHD.

Each dimension shows a percentage relative to its maximum possible score. Impact items are shown separately and do not contribute to symptom scores.

Limitations

This is a self-assessment for educational and self-reflection purposes. It is not a diagnostic instrument and does not replace a comprehensive clinical evaluation.
