Rewire

Drag the wire to connect power from source to target. A physics-based logic puzzle where you must power every node without short-circuiting.

: How to Play

  • 1Drag the Green Handle: Click and hold the green wire end to move it.
  • 2Power Nodes: Touch the circular spools to connect them. They will light up when powered.
  • 3Avoid Shorts: Do not let the wire cross itself or touch blocks. Short circuits will reset the connection.
  • 4Finish: Connect to the blue socket after powering ALL required nodes to complete the level.

: Game Features

  • :Procedural Graphics: All textures (coils, metals, glows) are generated mathematically in real-time.
  • :Physics Simulation: Wires behave realistically with tension and tangent-based connections.
  • :Logic Puzzles: 20+ levels testing your ability to route connections without crossing paths.
  • :Retro Aesthetics: Enjoy the glow of LEDs and the hum of electrical components.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Let us know.

Why is the wire turning red?

The wire turns red when a short circuit is detected. This happens if wire segments cross each other or if you try to power a node that is already active.

I connected the end but didn't win?

You must power ALL the dark grey spools before connecting to the end. Check the counter at the bottom left.

What are the red components?

Those are isolators. Passing the wire through them toggles the insulation, allowing you to cross wires safely in advanced levels.

About Rewire

Rewire is a spatial logic puzzle inspired by the JS13k competition entry. Instead of simple tile matching, you interact with a physics-simulated cable. Your mission is to establish a safe electrical connection from the green Start socket to the blue End socket, powering every intermediate node along the way.

This game challenges your pathfinding and spatial planning skills. You must visualize the wire's tension and trajectory to avoid overlapping segments (short circuits) while ensuring comprehensive coverage of all power nodes.
