Is Conquer the World Game free to play?
Yes, completely free, with no download, no installation and no sign-up. It runs directly in your browser.
How do I win the game?
Conquer the world in one of two ways: capture the capital city of every rival nation, or control 65% of the land. Each turn you can order up to 5 army moves from the cities and armies you control to adjacent hexes. Capture cities to gain reinforcements, and keep your morale high, because it decides how hard your troops hit.
What does the morale number do?
The bottom number on each army is its morale, and combat power is units plus morale. Morale rises when you take cities, ports and land, and falls when you lose an army. An army that ends a turn without acting also loses one morale, so endless camping is not a strategy.

How to Play
- You command one nation on a hex-grid world map. Four nations start in the corners and the other three are run by the computer.
- Each turn you get up to 5 commands. Click one of your cities or armies, then click a highlighted hex to move, reinforce or attack.
- Every army carries two numbers. The top one is its unit count, the bottom one is its morale, and combat power is units plus morale.
- Cities rebuild reinforcements at the end of every turn, and ports let you sail armies across water. Taking cities, ports and land raises morale.
- Conquer the world by capturing the capital of every rival nation, or by controlling 65% of the land. Lose your own capital and the war is over.
Strategy Tips
- Stack before you strike — two or three average armies that arrive together beat one big one.
- Watch the morale number. A veteran army fights far above its unit count.
- Take a port early. Water is a highway, and fleets can land anywhere on the coast.
- Do not stall. An army that ends a turn without acting loses one morale.
About Conquer the World
Conquer the World is a free turn-based hex strategy game in the tradition of classic hex wargames. Each match drops you and three computer nations onto a freshly generated world of land, sea, towns and ports, and hands you one tool: up to five army moves per turn. The map changes every game, but the rule that decides matches does not. Morale decides everything. Armies that keep winning grow stronger, while armies fed into a meat grinder lose the power to attack at all.
This is a strategy puzzle rather than a diagnosis or a training guarantee. Still, planning five moves ahead, weighing defence against expansion and reading a rival's intentions are exactly the tasks psychologists use to study planning, spatial reasoning and risk evaluation.
Why It Trains Strategic Thinking
Every turn is a small planning experiment: where to push, when to let troops hold a city, and how to read what the opponent will do next. You practise resource management, spatial planning and risk evaluation at the same time, the same cognitive skills researchers study in decision-making. Three difficulty levels let you start where you are comfortable and raise the pressure as your reading of the map improves.
