What is Arcanoria: Magic Research?

Arcanoria is a deep idle strategy game where you take charge of a fledgling magic guild. Begin with the four base elements — Fire, Water, Earth and Air — and channel mana to harvest more. Combine elements to discover new ones, then refine materials, craft potions and equipment, and expand your village with workshops, farms and mines.

The Alchemy Lab is your engine of discovery. Mix any two known elements: some combinations reveal hidden elements like Magma and Cloud, which unlock whole new regions and buildings.

Beyond discovery lies a full crafting economy. Six professions — Herbalism, Mining, Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Cooking and Enchanting — turn raw materials into refined bars, runes, potions, scrolls and powerful equipment with a five-tier item hierarchy.

Recruit heroes from eight classes, assign them to parties, and dispatch them into dungeons for gold and rare loot. As your guild grows, the 15-player Raid content — Elemental Trial and Dragon Lair — offers permanent power bonuses.

Knowledge is the truest form of magic — hoard it wisely.

Gameplay Guide

Arcanoria combines idle progression with strategic decision-making. Here is how the eight core systems work together.

The Eight Systems

• Alchemy — Combine elements to discover hidden ones. Discoveries unlock buildings, dungeons and the goal item.
• Crafting — Channel mana into base elements, then refine and craft items. Storage items can bank mana for later.
• Buildings — Spend gold to construct production, workshop, utility and expansion buildings. Each produces resources on a timer.
• Dungeons — Form parties of heroes and dispatch them for gold and items. Enable auto-repeat to farm a dungeon.
• Heroes — Recruit eight unique heroes, level them with experience, equip gear, and compose parties automatically.
• Raids — 15-player endgame challenges. Clearing one grants +1 Guild Level and a permanent stat bonus.
• Market — Traveling visitors appear every 30 seconds and pay gold for items they need. Sell your surplus.
• Codex — Your encyclopedia of discovered items, known recipes, and cleared dungeons and raids.

Discover the Phoenix Feather, forge the Phoenix Core, and win the game. Along the way, raise your Guild Level by clearing raids to unlock master-tier recipes.

Hints for Mastering Arcanoria

• Channel mana into Fire, Water, Earth and Air regularly — every recipe starts with base elements.
• Always explore new combinations in the Alchemy Lab. Hidden elements open entire regions.
• Build the Alchemist Lab, Blacksmith and Windmill early — they unlock the recipes that progress your economy.
• Keep producing and sell to visitors for gold. Buy mana with gold when you need a burst of crafting power.
• Wait until your heroes are geared for raid power requirements, then clear both raids for permanent bonuses.
