Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Let us know.

How do I read a code like 2 4 1 3?

Each number is the old position that fills the new position. Code 2 4 1 3 means the output's first slot comes from the input's 2nd shape, the second slot from the 4th shape, the third from the 1st, and the fourth from the 3rd.

How is my score calculated?

You get one point for each correct answer. Wrong answers are penalized by one third of a point to discourage guessing, matching the formula scoring used in many aptitude tests.

Are the questions the same every time?

No. Every attempt generates a fresh set of questions, so you can practice as many times as you like without memorizing answers.

What happens if the 5-minute timer runs out?

Your test is submitted automatically and your results are calculated from the questions you answered, just like a timed screening test.
