Self-Compassion Scale – Short Form (SCS-SF)

Introduction

This 12-item self-report questionnaire measures how you typically relate to yourself in difficult moments. Answer as honestly as you can — there are no right or wrong answers.

Rate each statement from 1 (almost never) to 5 (almost always) based on how you generally act in difficult situations. The scale includes reverse-scored items, so please answer every statement truthfully rather than trying to steer toward a particular outcome.

This test is for educational and self-reflection purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
