Logical Reasoning Test

Find the pattern in number sequences: arithmetic, geometric, alternating, square, and Fibonacci.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have another question? Let us know.

How is my score calculated?

You get one point for each correct answer. Wrong answers are penalized by one third of a point to discourage guessing, matching the formula scoring used in many aptitude tests.

What happens if the 6-minute timer runs out?

Your test is submitted automatically and your results are calculated from the questions you answered, just like a timed screening test.

Are the questions the same every time?

No. Every attempt generates a fresh set of sequences from six pattern families, so you can practice without memorizing answers.

What sequence patterns are covered?

Arithmetic, geometric, alternating, squares and powers, Fibonacci, and progressive difference patterns.

What you'll practice

The classic number sequence families used in employment aptitude tests.

Arithmetic & Geometric

Sequences that add or subtract a constant difference, or multiply by a constant ratio.

Alternating Patterns

Sequences with two interleaved rules, such as even and odd positions following different patterns.

Squares & Powers

Sequences built from square numbers, cubes, or other power relationships.

Fibonacci & Progressive

Sequences where each term depends on the previous ones, such as the Fibonacci rule.
