D&D Alignment
Neutral Evil
Neutral evil characters are out for themselves, plain and simple. They do whatever they can get away with — no honor, no code, no loyalty beyond self-interest. Neither disciplined like lawful evil nor erratic like chaotic evil, they are pragmatic and utterly ruthless.
Example Characters
Assassin — kills for profit, no questions asked
A bounty hunter with no scruples
Evil wizard — serves no master, only their own ambition
