Dissociation Test - Free Online Dissociative Experiences Scale
Take the Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES) to assess dissociative symptoms. This screening tool measures depersonalization, derealization, and dissociative amnesia.
Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES)
For each question, indicate what percentage of the time you experience the described phenomenon. Move the slider to the appropriate percentage (0% = never, 100% = always).
About the DES
The Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES) was developed by Eve Bernstein Carlson and Frank W. Putnam. It is a self-report measure of dissociative experiences, including depersonalization, derealization, and dissociative amnesia. The DES is widely used in both clinical and research settings.
Important Note
This screening tool is not a diagnostic instrument. Dissociative disorders can only be diagnosed by qualified mental health professionals after comprehensive evaluation. If you have concerns about your mental health, please consult with a healthcare provider.
