How do I run a script through the teleprompter?
Paste or type your text in editing mode (or import a .txt file — it is read locally in your browser), then switch to Reading mode and press play or the Space bar. The text scrolls automatically; adjust the speed slider (1–10) and font size until it matches your speaking pace.
What are the Mirror and Flip buttons for?
Mirror reverses the text horizontally for beam-splitter teleprompter glass, which reflects a reversed image back to normal. Flip turns it upside down for rigs where the screen reflects off a mirror at an angle before reaching the camera.
Is my script uploaded or saved anywhere?
It is never uploaded — everything stays in your browser. Your script, speed and colors are saved locally on your device and restored on your next visit (large scripts over ~300KB are not kept). File import is read locally, and clearing your browser storage removes the saved text.
Which keyboard shortcuts are supported?
Space starts or pauses scrolling, the up and down arrows change speed in 0.5 steps, and Esc toggles the settings panel. The remaining-time estimate updates as you change speed, so you can gauge whether your script fits the slot.
