How is Quordle different from Wordle?

You are guessing four words at the same time instead of one (Dordle uses two boards, Octordle uses eight). Each guess you submit is scored on every board, so you have far fewer spare tries per word — nine guesses for four words in the classic mode.

What do the keyboard colours mean?

Each key is split into segments, one per board. Green means the letter appears in that board's word in the right place, yellow means it is in the word but somewhere else, and grey means that board's word does not contain it.

When does the game end?

You win the moment the last board is solved. The round ends in a loss as soon as any board has used up all of its guesses — you do not need to finish the remaining boards.

What words can I guess?

Any five-letter combination is accepted and the colour feedback still applies. The hidden words come from a common-English word list, so no obscure vocabulary is required to win.

About this Game

Quordle is the four-board word puzzle. Every word you type is submitted to all boards at the same time, so each guess has to work four times as hard. Green means the letter is right where it belongs, yellow means it is in the word but elsewhere, and grey means it is not in that board's word at all.

The classic Quordle mode gives you nine guesses for four hidden words. Dordle doubles up with two boards and seven guesses, while Octordle is the ultimate test: eight boards, thirteen guesses. Solved boards collapse out of the way so you can focus on the ones that remain, and the split-coloured keyboard keeps track of every letter across all boards at once.

Because a single guess feeds every board, Quordle rewards thinking several moves ahead: words that test multiple unexplored letters are worth more than safe repeats. It is a daily vocabulary workout — pattern recognition, letter-frequency intuition, and a little fearless guessing.
