What presets are built in?

Four: Tabata (20s work / 10s rest, 8 rounds), a basic HIIT (30/15, 8 rounds x 3 sets with 60s between sets), EMOM (60 seconds of work at the top of every minute, 6 rounds x 4 sets, 60s set rest) and a circuit (45/15, 6 rounds x 2 sets, 90s set rest). Every value can be overwritten in the settings below.

How do rounds, sets and set rest work?

One round is a work phase followed by a rest phase. After the last round of a set comes the longer between-set rest, then the next set starts again from round 1; when the final set finishes you get the Complete screen. If rest is set to 0 seconds (as in EMOM), the next round starts immediately with a start beep.

What do the beeps mean?

A rising two-tone beep announces each work phase — at the very start, after every rest, and after set rest — while a lower square-wave tone marks the end of work. All cues are synthesized in your browser; there are no spoken instructions or countdown clicks, and the speaker button mutes everything.

Can I lock my phone during a workout?

Phase lengths are measured against the system clock, so a hidden tab no longer falls behind real time. Browsers still throttle background timers, which can delay the transition beeps — keep this page in the foreground (fullscreen mode helps) with the screen awake during workouts.
