How do I count — do I have to click a specific button?
No. One click or tap anywhere on the page adds one, and on desktop the Space bar works too (holding it down still counts as a single press). Each input is exactly +1; the "+1" ripple and particles are just visual effects.
What is the difference between current clicks and total clicks?
"Current" is this session's count and starts at zero; "total" keeps accumulating across visits. The total is saved in your browser's localStorage on this device only — it survives refreshes and is never uploaded to any server.
How do I reset the numbers? I don't see a reset button.
The two numbers themselves are the reset controls: click the current count to zero it, or click the total to clear the saved lifetime count. Both ask for confirmation first, so an accidental tap cannot wipe your data.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes — touch taps count exactly like mouse clicks, the layout adapts to small screens, and there is a fullscreen mode. On desktop, the Space bar offers a hands-free way to keep counting.
